Megan N. Shaughnessy, Esq
Megan N. Shaughnessy, Esq. of Boston, Massachusetts is the founding attorney of Shaughnessy Law Group, LLC and concentrates her practice in Civil Litigation. Prior to opening her own law practice, Attorney Shaughnessy worked at a civil litigation law firm in Boston, MA for over seven years where she started off as a legal intern and was subsequently hired as an associate. During her tenure at the firm she was able to gain extensive experience in Civil Litigation including, but not limited to, cases involving employment disputes and discrimination, housing matters (landlord/tenant), real estate purchases and sales, contract disputes, as well as personal injury. Attorney Shaughnessy has substantial experience and success with settlements outside of court, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst in 2008 with a double major in Legal Studies and Psychology, and received her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in 2012.

Attorney Shaughnessy serves on the Board for a certified 501(3)(c) non-profit F.A.M.I.L.Y Movement as the Family Advocate working with homeless individuals and youth to stabilize families in transitional living and advocating on their behalf both inside and outside of the courtroom.

Alana Gottlieb
Alana Gottlieb of Newton, Massachusetts is a 2011 graduate of Suffolk Law School. Prior to working at Shaughnessy Law Group, Ms. Gottlieb worked over four years at a Civil Litigation firm in Boston, MA. While working at the firm, Ms. Gottlieb gained extensive experience with all aspects of civil litigation, focusing her work on housing matters, employment discrimination disputes and personal injury. Alana assists in all aspects of case management whether in litigation or in the pre-litigation stages. She has a Bachelor of Art in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Colorado.

Leah Duffield
Leah S. Duffield of Norwell, Massachusetts is a 2020 graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Prior to working at Shaughnessy Law Group, Leah worked full-time at a private Boston-based investment advisory and trust firm while attending evening courses at Suffolk. As a Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney, Leah gained experience representing criminal clients in all phases of the court process, from arraignment to trial and post-conviction hearings. In 2018, Leah joined Shaughnessy Law Group as Attorney Shaughnessy’s paralegal, gaining experience with many aspects of civil litigation including consumer protection, housing matters, contract disputes, and personal injury. Leah is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

Richard "Rocky" Grossack - Of Counsel
Attorney Grossack grew up in Hull, Massachusetts where he later attended Clark University in Worcester, MA. After graduating from New England School of Law in 1984, Attorney Grossack opened up his own practice in Boston, Massachusetts where he successfully practiced for over 33 years. Attorney Grossack focuses his practice on personal injury, criminal defense, worker compensation law, and representing attorneys in front of the Board of Bar Overseer's. Attorney Grossack prides himself on strong and effective legal counsel, and being accessible to his clients at all times. Attorney Grossack currently resides in Newton, MA with his wife and three sons.
